Glenna Kaiser, CMT
Certified Massage Therapist

The mission statement of Glenna Kaiser, CMT: “I will dedicate my career to assisting members of my community who wish to manage their chronic and acute pain and improve their quality of life. I will do this by offering exceptional and compassionate therapeutic massage and other complimentary services.”

I have spent my professional career striving to help others by using my skills and knowledge as a massage therapist. My journey as a massage therapist began in the Massage Therapy program at Vincennes University and continues every day. I hold a “Board Certified” title from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Board Certification is the highest voluntary credential available to massage therapists in the United States. Board Certification demonstrates a much higher level of achievement beyond entry-level licensure - including completing more education, hands-on experience, and a background check.

Benefits of Massage

Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into:

  • Decreased anxiety
  • Enhanced sleep quality
  • Greater energy
  • Improved concentration
  • Increased circulation
  • Reduced fatigue
Massage can also help specifically address a number of health issues. It can do the following:
  • Alleviate pain and improve range of motion
  • Assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers
  • Ease medication dependence
  • Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow - the body’s natural defense system
  • Help athletes of any level prepare for, and recover from, strenuous workouts
  • Improve the condition of the body’s largest organ - the skin
  • Increase joint flexibility
  • Lessen depression and anxiety
  • Pump oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs, improving circulation
  • Reduce post-surgery adhesions and swelling
  • Reduce spasms and cramping
  • Relax and soften injured, tired, and overused muscles
  • Release endorphins - amino acids that work as the body’s natural pain killer
  • Relieve migraine pain
